A team is a group of people. Instead of giving ten translators access to five projects one by one, put them in a team and link the team to the projects.
Open Teams in the navigation.

Only organization owners and admins can create teams. Choose New, fill in the form and choose Create team:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Team name | Required, for example “Dutch Translators”. |
| Description | Optional. |
| Language focus | Optional. Shown with the team, but it does not limit which languages members can work on. |
Members of a team #
Select a team to see its members. For each member you can choose a team role (Translator, Reviewer, Admin or Owner) and remove them.
- To add someone, choose Invite, enter an email address, pick a role and choose Send invite. A person who is already in your organization is added to the team right away. For an address that is not in your organization yet, an invitation to the organization is sent, and the person joins the team after accepting. That second case needs the organization admin role. See Inviting people.
- Organization owners and admins can change every team. Members who are Owner or Admin of a team can change that team.
The team role decides who can manage the team itself. What a member can do in a project is decided by the access level of the team on that project, as described below.
Give a team access to projects #
Under Projects of a team, choose Add project, pick a project and choose the access level of the team on it:
| Level | Project role |
|---|---|
| Full access | Manager |
| Translate only | Translator |
| Review only | Reviewer |
New links start as Translate only. Change the level in the list, or remove the project to take access away. Everyone in the team gets the level on that project, and when a person also has another role in the project, the highest one applies. You can also manage the teams of a project from Project settings → Teams. See Project access.
Delete a team #
Delete team removes the team. Its members lose the access they had through the team. Their other access stays.
