Who can work in a project is set per project. Open Project settings → Members and Project settings → Teams. Changing access needs the manager role. Organization owners and admins are managers of every project and do not need to be added.
Members #
People must belong to the organization first. See Inviting people.
- Choose Add member.
- Search for an organization member, pick a role (Translator by default) and choose Add.
static/screenshots/project-settings-members.pngThe table shows each person’s role and, under Via team, the teams that also give them access. Use the role menu to change a role, or the x to remove a person. You cannot remove yourself, and you can only remove people who were added directly: access that comes from a team is taken away from the team. Removing a person asks for confirmation.
The roles are described on the same page and under Roles and permissions.
Teams #
- Choose Add team.
- Pick a team, pick the role the team gets on this project and choose Add.
The table shows each team with its number of members, its languages and its role on this project, which you can change or remove. Members of a team get access automatically. See Teams.
When someone has several roles #
If a person has access directly and through one or more teams, the highest role wins: manager over reviewer over translator.
The Project team page #
Project team in the project navigation gives an overview. It lists everyone with access to the project, grouped into Managers, Reviewers and Translators, together with the teams they come from, and the recent activity in the project: who translated, submitted, approved or requested changes, and how many keys. Pick a team in the list to see only its members. Manage team takes you to the Teams page.
