- Choose Send invite.
static/screenshots/org-members.pngThe person receives an email with a link that is valid for 14 days. Following the link, they choose a password, or confirm the password of their existing account. See Create an account and sign in.
Good to know:
- The role in the invitation is the organization role. Give the new member access to projects afterwards, with a team or under Project settings โ Members. You can also invite someone straight into a team from the Teams page, so they get access to its projects after accepting.
- The page shows how many seats you use out of your plan, for example “Using 3 of 25 seats”. Pending invitations count as seats. When the plan is full, new invitations are refused until you free a seat or upgrade. See Plans and limits.
- When Restrict to allowed email domains is on under Organization settings โ Security, you can only invite addresses from the listed domains.
- Inviting an address that is already a member is refused.
Pending invitations #
Under Pending invitations you see every invitation that has not been accepted yet, with the role and when it was sent.
- Revoke makes the invitation stop working.
- To send the email again, invite the same address again. The invitation is renewed for another 14 days.
Members #
The Members table shows each person’s role, their teams and when they joined.
- Change the Org role between Admin and Member in the table. The owner’s role cannot be changed here. To hand the organization to someone else, use Transfer ownership. See Organization settings.
- Use the remove button at the end of the row to remove a member. They lose access to the organization and all its projects. You cannot remove the owner or yourself.
For what each role can do, see Roles and permissions.
