Each project has one source language, chosen when the project is created, and any number of target languages. Manage the target languages under Project settings → Languages. Changing them needs the manager role.

| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Language | Name and code. |
| Progress | Approved translations out of the total number of keys, on the main branch. |
| Status | Active, In review or Inactive. |
| Remove | Removes the language. |
Add a language #
- Choose Add language.
- Pick a language and choose Add.
- Set its Status to Active.
A language you add here starts as Inactive. It does not show up in the editor until you change its status to Active. Languages you pick while creating the project start as Active.
The source language cannot be added as a target language.
Status #
| Status | Effect |
|---|---|
| Active | Translators can work on the language. |
| In review | Marks a language that is being checked. It behaves like Active: translators can still work on it. |
| Inactive | Hidden from the editor and the review page. New translations in this language are not accepted: pushes and imports skip them. |
Remove a language #
Choose the x at the end of the row and confirm. The language and all its translations are removed from every branch of the project. To keep the translations but stop working on a language, set it to Inactive instead.
