Organization settings

The organization profile, members, integrations, security, audit log, and what happens when you transfer or delete an organization.

Open the cog at the bottom of the navigation bar and choose Organization settings. The sections are General, Members, Integrations, Security and Audit log. Only organization owners and admins can change the settings.

General #

Organization info

FieldNotes
Organization nameShown to all members.
URL slugGenerated from the name. Read only.
Description, Industry, Organization sizeOptional profile details.

Localization preferences: default source language, timezone, ICU message format and machine translation.

Note

The localization preferences are saved with the organization, but they do not change the behavior of new projects yet. Set the source language and string format of a project in the project itself. See Create and manage projects.

Choose Save changes to apply, or Discard.

Members #

The members, their roles and the invitations. See Inviting people and Roles and permissions.

Integrations #

Connect GitHub and GitLab to create projects from repositories. See GitHub and GitLab.

The section also lists Slack, Figma, AWS S3 and Jira. Connecting one of them only records the connection. Nothing is synced or sent yet.

Security #

Session timeout. Signs out members who have been inactive for 1 hour, 4 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours or 7 days. Choose Never to turn off the inactivity check. The default is 7 days. A session always ends 7 days after signing in.

Restrict to allowed email domains. When on, you can only invite email addresses from the domains you list (for example @company.com). Add a domain with Add domain, remove it with the cross. It applies to new invitations, people who are already members stay.

Require two-factor authentication. The switch is there, but two-factor authentication is not available yet, so it has no effect.

Single sign-on (SSO). Shown as a Business plan feature. SAML and OIDC are not available yet.

Audit log #

A list of what happened in the organization: who did what and when, for example creating a project, inviting someone, creating a team or switching the plan. Choose Export CSV to download it with the columns When, Who and What. Only owners and admins can read it.

Danger zone #

Only the owner can use these.

Transfer ownership. Choose Transfer ownership, pick an admin as the New owner and choose Transfer. The new owner becomes the owner, and you become an admin. Only admins can receive ownership, so promote the person first if needed.

Delete organization. Deletes all projects, keys, translations, teams and member access. You have to type the name of the organization to confirm. This cannot be undone.
